Riverview is a suburb on the southern bank of the Lane Cove River, approximately 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD. It sits between Lane Cove and Longueville. The suburb is characterised by large detached homes on generous blocks, many backing onto the Lane Cove River or surrounding bushland reserves. Lane Cove National Park forms the suburb's western boundary, providing walking tracks, kayaking access and a natural buffer. The suburb is close to St Ignatius' College, Riverview, one of Sydney's leading GPS schools. The Lane Cove village, with its cafes, supermarkets and restaurants, is within walking distance. Houses typically sell between $3 million and $5 million, with waterfront and large-block homes commanding more.
